Started playing the latest Armored Core, kept putting it off in case it wasn’t quite what I wanted it to be, and it turns out it’s not everything I’d hoped for and more (which is fine, things rarely are,) but I’m still having a good time of it.

Just been to see Mononoke at the cinema, first time on the big screen. Always an incredible time, so much more so this time.

Started watching the original Gundam series, and it’s such a good time. It’s definitely aged a bit, but the pacing and tension is great.

Encountered a weird glitch in FFIX, just an empty speech box popping up in a cutscene. No text in it so I couldn’t proceed! Just before this I had the music overlapping on itself. Not encountered either before.

Started replaying Final Fantasy IX, first time in many years. Didn’t really appreciate it at the time but this really feels like a swan song of the PS1 era of JRPG. It’s so very polished and full of details and events, great fun.
