3D Fridays. This is a flexible/rigid print of a dissecting aortic arch that is heavily calcified and has an aneurysm. It is used for procedure planning, simulation and to help educate the patient. #3dfridays #3dprinting #3dprintingmedicine

Almost didn’t make today’s post.

Here’s an old veterinary one we did. This is Queeny the Harpy Eagle. We created a custom prosthetic to reinforce her beak which was weakened by disease. Now she can eat without worrying.

Throwing some of my old 3D prints up for fun. This a test print of my skull (not to scale, I have a Neanderthal-ish head, thanks mom and dad). We were testing out the two different clears Stratasys released on their polyjet J750 a few years back. I had a CT scan of my head handy #3dprinting #medicne

Returning from lecturing and consulting at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in Pearl Harbor, HI back to Los Angeles, CA. It was a great visit and I look forward to working together more in the near future.
