There is so much for my brain to take in. I cannot process as fast as it is happening. The children are of my utmost concern.
Do they feel safe at school? Do they feel seen and represented? Do they know I have to limit what I say in the classroom, but outside of the school I’m screaming for them.

Nearly 400 books removed from school libraries in one Tennessee county. Based on my skim of the list, most of them appear to be books by women, authors of color, &/or LGBTQ+ authors.
