If you remember correctly? Perhaps looking into the termination from news at the time would be beneficial rather than applying a narrative that is not supported. I understand not preferring Pete. I don’t understand the choice to canonize Bernie and everyone else is bad.

It does not require anyone to vote in any way. The NRA donated to Bernie. The NRA FFS. The purity test is literally killing non republicans right now and then it’s not even applied to whoever a person prefers. PAC money? He also took that. Campaigns cost money.

And, to be fair, he’s always been a democratic socialist until 2016. I love him. I get your frustration completely. There are people who can run and will make big positive changes. We have to look ahead.

I was very much with Bernie in 2016 and firmly believe he would have won, hands down. I don’t think that about 2020. People who were looking for “different” got it.

Bernie also takes donor money. Until there is campaign reform it is necessary. I think it’s important to view a candidate as an individual rather than applying purity tests if how we wish it was. It’s not where we are in this moment.

I understand but Bernie was not receiving the majority of votes but the largest percentage, meaning the majority of primary voters wanted someone other than Bernie. Fewer candidates should have increased Bernie’s chances. Plus, campaigns look at fundraising and determine it’s time to exit.
