An apt comparison to Askhistorians?
A meme with two panels which references/utilizes the 'fall of Osgiliath'-scene from 'Lord of the Rings - Return of the King'. In the movie, the orcs launch a surprise attack over the river, of which the Gondorian forces remain unaware for quite some time. Once they take note of it, the defenders rush down to the river to intercept the overwhelming avalanche of incoming opponents. This premise is paraphrased or rather adapted for the Reddit community of Askhistorians: The premise (and suitably named title) read as/are 'A popular post on Askhistorians about a controversial topic', setting up the first panel in which the sizeable amount of unfitting comments (titled as 'speculation/jokes/anecdotes/revisionism' - all of which appear often on such popular threads despite violating the rules on quality and depth required of top-level responses) are represented by the incoming orcs. Cue panel two: the moderators - akin to the Gondorian soldiers - hastily rush to the river to take up defensive positions in anticipation of the insurmountable horde of (in this case) poor comments they will have to deal with.

An AI-generated image depicting a large public space with an enormous gathering of people in front of a temple. The architecture resembles Ancient Roman buildings, similarly the crowd is supposedly shown to represent people from Ancient Rome. However, typical for AI-created imagery, facial features are distorted or missing entirely (see the figures highlighted with red circles) and bodies of text appear equally messy and as such faulty (see the red rectangles). AI-picture No. 2: Another portrayal of a large crowd of people from Roman antiquity in front of what appears to be the Roman Colosseum right next to its doppelganger or at least another, eerily identically looking theatre. The mistakes in this image are as abhorrent as they are obvious (from left to right): Missing or faulty facial features, a lower part of a leg so bent it should either be broken or be a hoof, a foot without a shadow, people carrying what seem to be small, round shields on their back, a person missing an entire leg, another carried shield, an anatomically interesting foot and ancle. AI image three: A group of armed Norsemen walking towards the viewer, in the background a mountainous landscape with several buildings. Note the consistency in the completely garbled, barely recognizable faces of the men depicted (red circles). Question: This - vaguely - looks like the depiction of some of the Greek soldiers in 'Troy' (2004), at least the crest. Does it seems likely to you they emulated this type of armour?

Well, that makes my task just easier. On that note:
