Not gonna lie, this isn't the easiest way to get a new pair of trousers sewn up. He keeps leaning over & trying to lick my forehead. 🐈‍⬛🪡🧵

A large fluffy black cat is lying on top of a large white Janome sewing machine, which has an almost-finished pair of khaki brushed cotton twill trousers under the presser foot. The cat is staring at the camera with large green eyes as if to say "What?". He's totally in the way.

She looks cosy and smug. Smug because she's an inveterate thief of warm seats. The Duchess of Nellington wins again.

A small short-haired black cat with a white star of hair on her neck sits smugly on a bum-warmed teal sofa in front of a bright pink velvety cushion with brown satin flowers. She's smug because she's just stolen my warm seat after I made the fatal error of getting up to get a drink. Smug and snug. And evil.

Current (knitting) WIP (one of them 😆): the Night & Day cowl by Andrea Mowry in Malabrigo Rios Matisse blue/Fresco y seco. Still on a blue/green combo thing. Lovely soft yarn, for wearing in my cold cold office. Coming along quite quickly and it's fun to knit! 🧶

BABIES!!!

Two young white women in a dry, dusty field at Glastonbury festival circa 1994. It looks like a casual shot as neither are looking at the camera and are gazing off in opposite directions - possibly admiring the scenery, possibly just both have forgotten to wear glasses and are incredibly stoned, who can say. They are both looking surprisingly clean and relatively perky so it's probably the first day of the festival. The one on the left even has makeup on. Both have hennaed their hair in identical ways because they are very individual. The one on the left is wearing atrocious but comfy blue tartan trousers and an old faded blue denim shirt overdyed green. The one on the right is wearing a black Tshirt with the nect ribbing cut out because *she always bloody does that* and has a beige jumper tied round her waist and OMG I can't believe she ever wore beige but I'm the one in the tartan pants so I won't judge.

Post you from a different era - Glastonbury 93-95?ish @leanderreeves.bsky.social arm in edge of pic. Looking atypically clean and made up for location, must have been first day. Makes up for truly eccentric trousering choice for which I can only blame the party favours. Those actually were the days.
