Extreme pedestrian, woke liberal union mob teacher and proud of it, she/her, SF
"Informally" is doing Atlas-likr work here, because there's documentary evidence this is false. Both the principals and the teachers are at impasse and the principals have been vocal about how disrespected they feel by Su in particular. SFParents has to know this.

Reminder that this is the entirety of the proof Edunomics has shared to justify its entirely made up claims about closing schools

This is because they just made that number up to support their campaign against public education

Two of these states passed pro-abortion ballot initiatives by huge margins but go off Klein

Like the pundit class should try at least slightly harder not to be so objectively wrong

Nothing weird about adults entirely unaffiliated with a school sitting in on classes, can't think of any reason why this would be bad

No actual evidence was presented to support this claim, and I'm just going go observe that actual human drivers do not harry five year olds crossing a street while Waymos actively attempt to murder them. This story is the is an ad for the Kinder Killers at Waymo

Bilal has visited every private school in D5. D5 is home to the city's only public arts integration elementary, amazing language pathways programs, and SF's first community school but Bilal doesn't do public schools

If you needed more reasons to bring Dubula iBhunu to American protests the NY Times has some for you!

Making the worst people the most mad is good

Unlike Thomas "Death to Pedestrians Democrat" Friedman, I live in a city with Waymos and it fucking sucks. I encourage him to walk one (1) mile in SF and let me know how it goes with Waymos

Capitulating to fascists means they're going to use you to do fascism. Don't let these goons pretend they thought it would come out differently.

Hey @nytimes.com what part of making America healthy again is systemic lead poisoning and have your headline writers been tested for lead www.cbsnews.com/news/milwauk...

Of course, this breezy summary omits that white South Africans murdered people like Chris Hani and promised decades more of white supremacist violence if the ANC didn't give over on the economic justice part.

It's very hard to create a prosperous nation when 10% of its people own everything.

There's my union VP, a communist in the tweets and a management bootlicker in the news sheets.

Actually no, we do not need to work with SFUSD to force unnecessary austerity on sites only

At least part of the reason Vermeule claims you need to have studied a zillion years to have an opinion on the Constitution is that he wants you to believe you have no right or say on what constitutionality is: you need to leave that to the genius fascists using law to kill you

Since I was listening to Board meetings before COVID, I can tell you that Elliot Duchon has no specific expertise and a massive bias for central office staffing and he always has

Worth noting here that Max here has at least two homes, one of which he rents as an airbnb

Idk these yimby dudes would be more persuasive if they weren't hypocrites

D5 is home to the district's only explicitly arts-focused elementary, which is in a building that's been home to district schools for 101 years, but the incoming D5 Supe chose this private school to visit. Cool.

Y'all, we know how SFUSD came up with the "closing schools saves $22m" bit. They took this year's site budget for each of the schools to be closed and added it up.

Of course they're not going to admit that but let's face facts here.

Very funny to watch the people who couldn't wait to waste money on the school board and DA recalls insist that the recall dude should not get recalled because, uh, democracy

Like 20% of SF voted in the school board recall, weird how they thought was cool

I think we should be clear that SFUSD proposes cutting 500 teachers and 6 central office management types. The district office is the biggest it's ever been even though the district is smaller.

The priority here isn't students. It's management.
