Yesterday I took all my Neil G**man books to the local used bookstore and traded them in for books for my son (he’s currently 16 months). The clerk was both very nice and absolutely horrified when I gave a very brief summary of why I couldn’t stand to keep them any longer.

Today was our second Thanksgiving away from my partner’s abusive family (my family are great, but too dead to attend). Despite anxiety and limited experience, I made a really good turkey for the second time. It’s a small victory that feels massive to me. Hope everyone had a great day!

Last night I watched my tiny human take his first deliberate steps and then stand unassisted for 10+ seconds. Seems like a good first post?
