Not technically part of my birthday haul but a newish release purchased this week. I’ve already read two bios of Shepard, his letters to his bestie, a collection of his interviews, and all of his prose writing so I’m not sure what more I can learn, but I’m a completionist so I had to.

Very happy this tiny girl survived being stomped by a mama deer this morning, but also a little worried what that will do to the confidence of a smol chi who thinks it’s a good idea to confront wild animals 15x her size. 🥴

Had to get this Slim Aaron’s Christmas puzzle and spent most of today working on it. About as far as I’m getting today because of my terrible puzzle posture and the vast expanse of sky and pool that’s left lol.
