I used to cashier at a grocery store. The full moon 100% makes people worse than usual. I eventually got sick of it and started taking the day before, day of, and day after off because those three days of the month were too much for my mental health. I stayed tf home and away from people.

Likewise, how do I signal my queerness? When I’m out, it’s usually in a situation that appears very het. I don’t want that to deter anyone.

Shit, sometimes I wish they’d ask for my number or social or something, but I wouldn’t remember it anyway because of my internal panic. But that would cause more opportunities to see how I miss so many social cues and they’d think I’m not interested.

The biggest problem is that I’ve JUST started being able to say “thank you” instead of something like “oh no, I look terrible.” I’ve made progress. But I don’t know the next step. Sometimes they’ll just move on, but when they don’t? What do I do??? I’m socially awkward and trying to fix it.

The rabbit I had as a kid, I had for 8 years before I gave him to a friend because my guardians were sick of him. He was so sweet. He lived longer and even fathered some babies. Totally blew me away because what life potion was he drinking? I never heard of a rabbit going that long. I wish all did.

Note: I don’t watch a lot of tv anymore, and when I do, it’s older reruns. I don’t have the energy for getting into a lot of new stuff. I still have a show in queue that came out 2 years ago I haven’t watched because I’m just so drained. Sitcom reruns are my ambiance while doing other things.

But the token white is exactly how I usually make fun of white people. It cracks me up so much. Truly blended shows don’t have the issue so much. (We need more diverse writers ffs.) This is usually stuff seen in 20+ year old shows, but I still see it every now and then in newer ones.
