Same thought here. Spouse and I tell each other, "On the bright side, maybe we'll be dead before the whole broligarch/AI powered Fascist state is in full control." What an ominously ugly shit show the 21st century is turning out to be.

History repeats itself, prior to WW2 America:

Elected a terrible Republican president on an isolationist platform ☑️

Instituted a vast tariff policy ☑️

Blamed immigrants for job losses ☑️

If history is a guide, we’re in for a rough 4 years that may require a world war & dems to pull us out of it.
