Like even the reply you sent earlier was from 2019 and I've been watching the relatively recent videos with nothing nearly as bad as what doll described (calling people autistic as an insult), i feel like doll assumed i must not care about ableism and thus not see it, which is like, no?

Yeah i agree, said as much when i replied too. Like i didn't even ask for any examples, it's just that believable to me. But tbh the assumption that one not being aware of ableism means they must not care about it, is itself ableist???

I watched like 5 of his videos recently and didn't see any of that, maybe bc it was mostly gaming content, if i did then yeah I'd be the first to call him out on that. Main reason I don't watch most of the lefties is ableism/saneism/body shaming so

The tradition around the "D" name even ties those bearing it as "enemies of God", but it also means the enemies of the current status quo and its leadership. It shows how they used their authority to make themselves into parts of the folklore as gods

By "women's safety" they mean "we divide people into two categories, the ones that are dangerous rapists and the ones that are soft uwus that need to be protected from them" though, so idk if the inclusion in the latter instead of the former is a solution and not just a step

And again it's important to treat said channels as thoughts, opinions, not facts or studies or authorities. I feel like people treat studies the same way, if it has a source then it must be true

Exactly. the only good political channels are those with a tiny amount of subs exactly because most people disagree with radical politics, to have a large platform is a red flag. Whenever i think about starting my own channel, it'd be just sharing my thoughts to a handful of people for example

And it's not just because I'm queer either, I've seen queers that thrived in what id consider the working class leftist environment. So what is it that made me connect with the people i have in mind, and what is it that makes other people in my position NOT connect w the people i have in mind?

It's a bit confusing but like, if we assume that ones material conditions shape the person, then my material conditions are much closer to the "average working class kid". I was never homeless or forced into sex work etc

We try to support each other as best as we can, and I think it's somewhat working. I was just thinking though, why is it that these are the people i consider my community, what is it about me that made me connect with them when others in my conditions didn't connect with them
