Most people don't know this probably, but there's actually new dialogue in the Waking Sands (yes, the original one) after Stormblood. Came across this while roaming the world. (Also have this shot of the crystal tower, I think, looking... interesting lol)

White Mage Artifact Gear with its distinct white and red parts is absolutely *made* for the 2-channel dye system, so I immediately got to work once I unlocked it. Dyed the white parts morbol green and the red parts currant purple. Didn't plan on it fitting Pandaemonium so well! 😊

Galuf/Krile were my "tanks" - the ones I gave all the defensive jobs to. Galuf started as a thief, actually, because "Detect Hidden Passages" is practically required for 100% completion. But then I switched right to Knight, Mystic Knight, Ninja and Samurai.

Faris was my "odd-jobs" character. She learned all the Blue Magic and got the Beastmaster ability Control to help with that. The Summoner spells, too - even though they're tough to find and are often called overpowered, I never used them much to be honest...

I'm very basic, at least in the beginning. For every WHM, I need a BLM. That was Lenna's role! Black Mages need a lot of MP to function effectively - thankfully you can use tents at save points to restore them, otherwise I would've just used her as a non-stealing thief with all the knivework she did

achievement anyway, then promptly destroyed the two superbosses and the final boss. Gonna talk about the job system a bit, this might take a while... Let's start with Trevor! I like making the protagonist a White Mage - you can damage enemies in a lot of ways, but only the WHM can really heal -

And a lot are timegated, too! This is my team for the Gil turtle. BLM for ice damage, WHM with Bard skill for healing and Requiem (undead damage), TimeMage for Float (to survive otherwise undodgeable OHKO at the very end of the fight lol)
