My oldest hen has offered a fairy egg today. It's that pale green one on the right. Left one is a regular or xl brown egg, the middle is a small banty egg. So fairy eggs are quite smol. Close to quail egg size, but coming from an average size chicken.

Before you go to sleep you must look at these kittens outside my window that I can't catch. They are happy sleeping on a bench with a heating pad under the blankies, and that's a good thing at least.💜

I'm cleaning off shelves & finding more forgotten stuff. I don't know if I'll ever go back to this work, but for just one-off things. This was late 90's. Anyway, a mere fraction of work I've done & I'm not even sure what to do with photos except scan them. Just tuck them away with other memories🤷‍♀️

Tw!g got her first vet appt yesterday & was SO very good. Despite being pretty skittish, didn't scratch or bite & just trusted everyone was ok. Didn't even barf on the trip. She then hid all morning somewhere in protest because she is still an outdoor cat. She reappeared tho, so we're still friends.

Full of grumbling today. Not ready to do cold weather prep but it'll be
30° tonight for no reason & I have to catch some teeny wild cats. Their cuteness isn't overcoming my dread of dealing w this process *again* bc people dump pets out here. Might keep Twig bc she's 1/2 sized. *defeated sigh* 💀💕

I have 5 kittens and their mom here if you're interested. The mom is a tiny twig and sweet, the kittens are still feral (gotta catch em) No obligation, but Twig is just so nice. Needs more snuggles.
