I admire Nancy Pelosi for her leadership, knowledge and humanity. I love that she is willing to open the election arena for a new comer to enter Senate. She is a welcome change to the many who could easily step aside and make way for new, younger ideas. A heartfelt thank you to Nancy Pelosi.

Today I would just like to reflect on all the men and women who stood up for democracy, those who fought and those who died. We have long been a country working at doing the right thing for people, not just here on our land but also abroad fighting for others. For this I am proud to be an American.

Trump plans to accept the Qatar gift of an airplane. Retrofitting costing us 100s of millions to be Air Force One. It will be made bullet proof, bomb proof, nuclear proof and have the highest level of technology. Take 5 or 6 years to complete. Just in time to go to Trump Library.

Trump is losing ground, he continues to lie and lie and lie. If he is talking he is lying or speaking gibberish. No deals, no lower prices, no peace talks, no national security, no integrity. We get higher prices, tariffs, cuts to career workers, decreased valuable services and more lies..

At 38,I graduated as a BSN, RN. At 52 I received my Master’s. I loved my nursing career, so many opportunities, so many experiences, so many people who touched my life as much as I touched theirs. I am proud to be a nurse. Happy Nurses week to all the who make a difference in the lives of others.
