You write a story with a tone all over the goddamn place that still ends up making no sense and you make an upgrade system designed to be unintuitive as hell, clearly

Admittedly my first thought is Genesis Rising: The Universal Crusade, a far future game where all the ships are organic creatures. They have to harvest blood from space stations to refuel, and can even do it to other ships midbattle.

Not to say the game is good though it's really bad lmao
