STOP SCROLLING. TRANS LIVES ARE IN DANGER. The Trump administration today has announced rules that will force hospitals to deny gender affirming care to anyone under 18 or be shut down. Denying gender affirming care is now going to be a condition for hospitals to receive Medicare and Medicaid funding. We need states and local governments to step up and ensure that no one will lose access. This will kill kids otherwise. Hospitals will not be able to serve ANYONE with Medicaid without this funding. WE HAVE THE POWER TO HELP STOP THIS. CALL YOUR MAYORS, CITY COUNCILS, STATE LEGISLATORS AND GOVERNORS. TELL THEM TO SUE THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION OVER THEIR DISCRIMINATORY TRANS YOUTH CARE BAN ASAP script on the next slide SCRIPT The Trump administration is forcing hospitals to deny care for trans youth by withholding federal funds if they don't stop. I'm asking you to do everything possible to make sure trans kids in our community can have access proper care. Our local clinics need funding and resources to help trans kids.
