I'm not a poetess, I'm not a poet;
je suis poetry incarnate,
así lo siento en mis carnes.

Versos en mis sesos
are my life essence,
streams of l'art
flow through my heart.

The remotest nooks of my brain,
the darkest corners of the Earth,
dwelling of my inner pains
are also home
to caged love.

Blades of grass slash through the wind,
they wound it and make it bleed
into my mouth; I am forced to imbibe
these rivers... cascades, veins of the sky;
I forgot how to write succint lines;
eveything is disorder in my mind.

I am lost
in the rotten woods
like a hind
seeking home
while at home.

Supper of the soul is the #poetry in which I find home,
the refuge of rhyme acts as a golden fleece dome
protecting me from the subterfuge of my own mind
that has me trapped in a foothold like a hind.

The verses are the hammer clashing with the shackles,
they master the iron as the chains rustle.

Retro review #3 - Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth (PC)
A Lovecraftian classic in 3D. Despite of lacking the easiness of narrative flow of usual 2D Lovecraftian adventures, and having severe technical issues, this game still stands to this day as one of the most immersive experiences.

Film review #8 - The Photographer of Mauthausen (2018)
A heart-trembling picture of the Holocaust focusing on the tales of Spanish rebels that ended up in the Third Reich's concentration camps. A great portrayal of Boix's tragedy and a distinct depiction of the importance of photography.

Retro review #2 - X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse (PS2)
A mediocre RPG that turned out to be a fantastic X-Men game. Enough variety of skills and characters to not get bored for hours while playing through the story. A poorly designed progression system that is simple enough for 2005 co-op.

Film review #7 - Salò (1975)
My favorite Pasolini piece. One of the greatest political art horror films I have ever seen. The distribution of the shots is absolutely brilliant. The political commentary on fascism is as veracious as it gets. A 1970s masterpiece. Dantesque in every bit of itself.

Retro review #1 - Genji: Dawn of the Samurai (PS2)
A gorgeous medieval adventure inspired by the the Tale of the Heike. Onimusha-like UI and a simple but flourishing gameplay experience with two different characters that swap places from time to time. Nipponese beauty through a PS2 lens.

Film review #6 - Jungle (2017)
A film that exemplifies the dual nature of the mind when it finds itself isolated in an unkown environment while coping with survivability and a mixture of imminent and long-term danger. A gand psychological take about the human mind and body breaching limits.

Film review #5 - Valhalla Rising (2009)
An enigmatic, and apparently mute, enslaved foreign fighter faces the stillness of the world around him while pushing through trauma and enduring several fights. It paints a dramatic picture with stark dialogue. The normality of life through pained eyes.

Film review #4 - Vivarium (2019)
An enigmatic psychological film that turns home into hell in the brink of an eye's blink. Brilliant acting by the cast, from the youngen to the adults. While there are many cinematographic elements which could be better, it is overall a mind-twisting movie.

Film review #3 - Tetris (2023)
A caricature of video game history. There are few things that feel right about the cinematography and the writing. The only proper worthy piece is the teaser-trailer in which they show Henk trying the Game Boy. USSR-related scenes were 90% inaccurate, deceitful.

Film review #2 - Ikiru (1952)
In a world where everyone picks Rashomon and Seven Samurai, I choose Ikiru. A dramatic masterpiece that has you questioning how can something so simple evoke so much complexity. A picture of human life in the shape of cinema. 9/10

Film review #1 - Monkey Man (2024)
Taking the action genre to redeeming heights by finally making the action a secondary element and focusing on storytelling. Absolutely loved the dramatic elements, the great shots, the psychological depiction, and the representation of the trans Hijra people. 8/10
