40°C is the new 30°C in France...! 🔥🥵

Mostly unknown before 1980 (5 occurrences) 📉

Skyrocketing since 2019 (180 occurrences) 📈
Sur le réseau p.pal de Météo-France, la barre des 40°C a été franchie 5 fois entre 1951 et 1980.
Puis il y eu "l'OVNI" 2003 et un vrai tournant à partir de 2019 avec une banalisation des 40°C en été en France.
Entre 2019 et 2025, on parle de plus de 180 dépassements.
5 en 30 ans vs. ≃180 en 6 ans.
