Maybe, but were you willing to let Snap benefits sit on hold another 2 weeks? And what if Trump didn't care about the political damage? What if the Rs were still being obstinate 2 weeks from now? Would it be OK to cave then, or were you willing to hold out 4ever, regardless of the damage from Rs ?

They're going to suffer without the subsidies. That and the increased cost of instance and everything else is clearly on the Rs.

I agree we view things differently and I also agree I'm in the minority. And yeah, I concede that everyone who vote ls R at this point is basically a Trumpists. I'm looking more at the get table middle here.

What good would holding out another 30, 60, 90 days do? The Rs are in the majority and already proved they're willing to blow everything up. We can paint this as losing or as effectively communicating the elimination of the subsidies is clearly the fault of the Republicans. I choose the latter...
