I was today years old when I realized that $PWD is a built-in automatic variable in PowerShell—and it’s not about passwords, but “Present Working Directory.” Now I’m wondering how many scripts I’ll need to update to avoid messing with built-in variables…

Windows 1, was presented today back in 1983, 41 years ago, first official (stable release 1.04) wasn’t shipped until Nov. 20 1985, with an end of support date on Dec. 31 2001. We don’t see that kind of support range these days 😎 I have only seen Windows 1.0x in wild once during upgrade to Win 3.11.
