First ttrpg session of the year as a player. GM weaves a good story but 4 sessions in the system has not quite sold me on it's own merits.
Not an outright bad system, but feels half baked. Lore is really good as is to be expected.

Discovered that there is a Japanese RPG translated in English.
It's Goblin Slayer! TRPG. And no it's not defined by the series opening scene much like the series itself.
It's so far looking one of the best Fantasy ttrpgs I have read. Grim, gritty but with heroic notes.

These are croches my parterenrs step mome did for them to bond over with their mom. It was a tumultous relationship in my partners chilfhood and they were past few years repairing that relationship and their mom was taken from them in a horrible act of violence.

Despite well documented challenges and failures in development, Werewolf the Apocalypse 5th edition manages to encapsulate the core themes of the game and set imagination wild craving for a rampage for Gaia.

Our intrepid troupe of adventuring musicians "Mimic! At the Inn"manages to adopt trio of goblins that now follow them as the party bard is a Hobgoblin.
They also managed to talk a sentient Mimic to leave gnomes alone tho I think it is not the last time they have heard of Mambo the Magnificent
