Good, God. It was a best guess given what was known then. What harm was done? It's only part of the swiss cheese model of infection prevention. There is so much historic correlation, including examples of military barracks and their design.

Just called my daughter and begged for this video. She & friend, year 4 dental students at Iowa in 2023, were playing air basketball at lunch (presuming they were alone) and classmates captured it on video. She was humiliated. Fun bunch, but not basketball players.
