Once you understand the techniques, you will be able to apply them anywhere. It was much more helpful for me to "understand the process" since before VFX was totally a mystery on how people do it. But it ends up being very simple.

He implements the effects in Godot but the principles are the same in all game engines. It is ok to watch even if you use other engines because Godot is way simpler to setup everything.
