I'm tired of a month that's supposed to be for collective grief and joy instead being a time of infighting & mimicking bigotry. I'm tired of how acceptable it is in this community to say, "I can't celebrate near someone who doesn't present the way I think they should." It is so deeply an inside problem if you base the validity of your own queerness on how others experience theirs. It's an inside problem if you think your discomfort at someone else's sexuality is the same as their hurt when you discriminate against them. Mind your own house. Focus on the month you want to have, not the month you want to control for everyone else.

I initially left them in water (changing frequently) for a few weeks, and once they were thoroughly rooted and sprouting I moved them to soil! They seem really happy & even grow back after harvesting

I am finding IFS to be a rly helpful modality. A couple parts felt a bit woo or a bit too sure of what must be going on inside my head, & I wish he'd drop the comparisons to other fields of science, but overall a considered & compassionate guide.

Budget gardening: broken ceramics are now drainage pebbles. I also added a layer of busted plastic seedling pots.
