have you ever used instruments to compare the two? everyone I know that does perf work does it on macos because they say instruments is unbeatable. I've never used either btw, just curious :)

i felt roughly the same way when watching this video. not that i'm a fascist or anything but the arguments mostly come down to "look at how stupid this is. anyone that likes it is so stupid, right?", which, yeah, but it's a weak argument to publicly present youtu.be/UD4_CaTufIU

you can just set a few individual packages to use unstable, that's what I do for neovim, yazi, etc
