mmk we all know Heavenly Restriction prevents use of cursed energy, right we all know that Toji and Maki's Heavenly Restrictions also gives them enhanced senses, though Gege was not enough of a FREAK to expand upon that where we are going with this is, we need more Toji or Maki senseplay. where they can smell tiny changes in a person's scent, see even the smallest sweat drop, where even if they walk into the room silently they can feel them through air vibrations. becoming sense freaks and counting the individual pores or completely describing the taste of another person what i have is an unwritten Rika/Maki fic. and i have a plan jjk, toji fushiguro, maki zenin, fic ideas

for the first, we basically HAD a cure already for the populace who had "short." basic meds and staying at home, what people should already be doing in the case of disease. those unfortunate enough to get long covid would join everyone else with chronic disease in that even if they are cured they can't turn back the damage already done to the body. in the 2nd, what company could even hope to do that, even international corporations? who would manage the debt? what happens when they (predictably) go into default and whomever mismanages the debt to over-compensate their own (1st world) location over the rest of the world? and in the last, would you have exponentially compounded the potential death toll even higher? ruin the civilians who are also experiencing the same plague? what was their angle with wanting this???

i am cradled in the crevasse of a sacred creature my fingers dig into its cold flesh, enmeshed deeper its roots, black and thick, knot into my arteries seeing through its eyes, hearing through its ears becoming a tongue for its seraphic whisper our communion birthing a newfound flesh hunger with a feral howl not entirely my own, we begin the hunt no room for myself within this unification we fly skyward bordered by an unholy roar tearing asunder sinewy gyroscopes with the effort upon heavenly heights, an inhuman gaze watches the rest becoming nephilim, the masses witness in disgust

an angel aging with the addition of wings and feathers, starting with a single and growing another each year. this never stops, never ends, each year another wing, until they are weighed down by the feather and bone. depending on their nutrient intake, the wings are larger or smaller, growing almost at random even within the body and around the eyes. those who can bear it prune the extra body parts, blood-dipped down growing over with eyes and mouths. those who cannot suffer slowly, calmly. they become sessile, speak only in tongues as they can barely move their pinion-filled mouth. even at this point they continue to gather wings, though can no longer take care of themselves, a lack of preening leading to parasites and disease taking root, the natural end awaiting them being one of decrepit decay. at last they fall, leaving twisted feathers as a monument to their existence.
