I'm so pissed off I was crying earlier. I tried to call my rep (MAGA asshole Barry Loudermilk) to ask why he voted to take my right to vote away and the little troll who answered the phone there hung up on me when I said Loudermilk owed it to every married woman in the district. What do we do now?

Supposedly it's up to the states but I don't trust my governor or SOC one bit. If you have to get a passport to vote - upwards of $130, that's essentially a poll tax which is illegal. Not that I trust this administration to follow the law or constitution - sigh!

So a woman who took her husband's name 30 years ago needs to pay over $100 to apply for a passport in order to prove citizenship since her birth certificate won't match her ID?
Sounds like a Poll tax on married women to me!

Same guy asked for my husband's phone number so he could tell him what a horrible woman I was. I laughed, gave it to him and said, have at it - he never stifles me and will chew you out if you bother him at work. (Hubs worked every Sunday so i attended church alone - I was targeted often)
