1. Do you hear or think rhythmically when you improvise or focus more on the harmonic and melodic aspects of Music? 2. Which type of rhythmic content do you generally gravitate toward? (8th notes, long undefined notes, Quarters) 3. Do you ever play over the barlines, utilize odd groupings (triplets), or imply other meters in a solo? 4. Are your ideas usually concise (one measure or less), or do you play longer phrases? 5. Do you often start phrases in the same place, on the same beat, or in the same bar? 6. When you play common progressions like the ii-V-i, do you have a go-to phrase or rhythm to navigate it? 7. Are you free and flowing with rhythm and time or more strict, fitting neatly into the sequence of measures and larger form? 8. When you play a familiar tune or song form, do you rely on licks or practiced phrases
