Do you have one for the Tate brothers as well?

But of course there are factors at play like performance management, blame culture, identity/role etc which might incentivise people to focus on their 100%. it's what we got educated for and it's comfortable

Agreed. I'd say that it would make more sense to focus on the total of the connecting parts. Because it's a multiplication. So how do you contribute to get to the larger multiplication instead of optimizing for one part.

I'm a perfectionist, so still learning it the hard way. Sometimes unreasonable people innovate for things which are people would find good enough. And of course your juxtaposition isn't entirely fair. But yes, fast and frugal often works. But not in making a Hermès bag...

Yes. You just described satisficing 😉 Herbert Simon 1947. Got a Nobel though

Depends on your job and context: nuclear scientist?

Especially if it's about his own history, wonder what he will do to the radio 😉

I guess they got tired of winning.

Also interesting if you compare it to other ev sales. From what i read, overall ev sales are up. So relatively it's way worse.

Interesting that the argument for leniency is a tribal one: she's popular, has a lot of supporters. So basically you can't jail a tribal leader, because you're in another tribe. In parallel to nation state and rule of law, this is always present, but maybe not that visible for us at times.

I would argue they are not under the impression, they are using the "newspeak" of the Trump administration as to not offend them. A ceasefire means "cease fire", not something else.

Passt wunderbar zur Anzeige 😂

You're assuming too much. Hanlon's razor is an adage, or rule of thumb, that states: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

My point, you need more context to make sense of this. otherwise it's just data puking. Russia doesn't get a transit fee?
March 24, 2025 at 7:28 PM
I just want an approximate figure, it's ok with explicit made assumptions. 1.5 Mio tons *531 USD current price per ton is appx 800 Mio USD in potentially lost revenue. Just tons doesn't really show it's importance, very little meaning
March 24, 2025 at 6:52 PM
How much money is that?

Ausserdem kann man den Gegner zwingen zu reagieren anstatt selbst immer reagieren zu müssen. Das bringt die Planung der Russen eher durcheinander. Plus Schäden und Zerstörung von Anlagen usw. findet auf russischem Boden statt
