Thanks for engaging, but untried camera systems aren’t going to make the inaccessible, accessible. Nor deal with the chaos at stops. Here is the question:

“How will blind people travel independently to and from Portland Place by bus if the council were to install a floating bus stop there?”

In 2012 Peter Hendy suggested to pedestrianise Oxford Street two bus stations were needed, one at either end, but that would be unacceptable.

Serious cycling injuries will be near 1000 for 2024. That’s 50% higher than 2017. Buses are running at their slowest speeds since I bus records began with no prospect of recovering.

TfL can’t demonstrate any shift from cars to cycles in London. It’s just catabolising other sustainable modes.

Agree. Keeping the highway clear of obstruction has been a duty of local government for more than two hundred years. I don’t understand why they can’t do it.

London cycling is not good at picking winners. Royal College Street was given an award. Now it’s on the most dangerous junction list. Go figure. Do you know who the expert was?
