Having fun just writing little scenes with Sukuna and Kanato. Not sure where I'll place this in the as-of yet-not-named fic but it'll be there somewhere 👀
"Do you have a favorite flower, brat?" An odd question, coming from Sukuna and yet it made some sense to him. They where all over the shrine, maybe this was a secret pastime for him. Sure, Kanato found most flowers beautiful. They were fun to draw, especially at night when he had trouble sleeping, but a favorite? He couldn't think of one. He moves slowly across the flower beds, gently touching petals still dewy from the morning rain. "......Clematis." Kanato finally answers, eyes scanning for them around the rough walls of the shrine but he finds none. A small frown forms but quickly leaves– but it's not lost on Sukuna. "They're not the prettiest but they still shine. No matter the harshness of the world, they still find a way to keep on living. I think that makes them the most beautiful, so I guess they are my favorite." Sukuna makes a noise of contemplation, a small smirk on his lips, but he keeps his thoughts to himself. Curiosity peaked within Kanato, his eyes scanning the towering man for any answers. "What about you? What is your favorite flower...my Lord?" He questioned, quickly tacking on the last part, he was having a hard time with pleasantries and respectful honorifics. Most of them he had long forgotten in isolation. "I don't care for flowers." Came the simple answer from Sukuna, his four arms crossed as he continued to look at them. Kanato's eyebrow raised at that. It made no sense, why was the shrine full of them then? But his perplexed expression was simply answered with a booming laugh, like some unknown joke was being made. Sukuna was an enigma to Kanato, a puzzle of a thousand parts with sharp edges and odd shapes– and that fascinated him far more than any flower could.

Studying Sukuna's anatomy and yeah like those are definitely four pecs, those are not abs. I know Gege doesn't draw them consistently but he does draw them enough that it's clear that's what those are supposed to be.

Which makes sense, arms cannot function without the pectoral muscle

Back at it again with more notes of my jjk OC Kanato 😳👉👈
° Kanato mostly spent his time isolated from a young age, only speaking to his older sister. (Around the time his cursed technique manifested.) His tone of voice is strange as a result and he tends to imitate people a lot. Sukuna and Uraume thought he was being sarcastic or insulting before realizing he would imitate them only because he liked how they say things. ° He has learned to have a more "natural" tone when speaking for Sukuna but otherwise uses his odd tones and intonations to keep people guessing what he is really feeling. ° He has spent a lot of time reading and learning to write so he is better at showing his true feelings through art. ° Limits to his Technique: • Cannot make more than One person-like living painting. • Can make Two medium sized creatures or One big one. • Can make a maximum of Six tiny living paintings of creatures. • Anything bigger than a house can only be created within his Domain. (Ex. Yamato no Orochi, his biggest creation). • His human-like living paintings take days/weeks to draw and create, he cannot draw them on the go. He keeps one in a giant scroll on his back when out on a mission. They take a lot of cursed energy to use (Especially the Sukuna one) so they are only taken out on emergencies. ° When nervous/upset he creates a small bunny that he pets. (He lets Uraume pet it too but not Sukuna.) ° Made a binding vow with Sukuna. He agreed to tattoo him with his cursed ink in exchange of learning how Sukuna's Cursed Technique works. ° The difference between Heian Kanato and Modern is like night and day. A lot of it has to do with him embracing his vessel's memories and technique. • He is bombastic and outgoing, unafraid to show off and say what he thinks. Basically the side he used to hide and only show Sukuna and Uraume is now his default.
