"One person's trash is another person's treasure." is the reason for Value Village, right? A convenient place to deposit //not quite garbage//.

The good stuff gets set aside for my local SPCA thrift store.

...And then there's the box of garage purgatory for spent CFL/LED bulbs and empty paint cans

Hockey season is a racket for NB hotels, IMHO. Checked my usual Moncton haunt--the Amsterdam Inn--booked solid for the weekend, but down to a reasonable $129 with lots of availability on Monday. (When in Saint John, we like the Best Western Plus. Prices there spike crazily during tournaments too.) 💸

He's a weird dog. Can't always tell if it's the adolescent crazies, a chihuahua being a chihuahua, or if he has moments of sensory overload. Neither scared, nor mad, but "What the f* is this? I don't think I like it, but damned if I know why!" He has the same reaction to the wind and car rides. 🤷

Poncho. Anything that works for Florida theme parks should work for our gawd awful windy, cold rain. (eg. www.amazon.ca/dp/B0B21FFHK3)

I may stand corrected. The more I drink, the more I get blue raspberry and the sting of citric acid in my throat; therefore, Sour Patch Kid is plausible.

The interwebs say that it's the same as the US version of VooDew 2022 which was Sour Patch Kids. Not sure about that. I really liked that iteration, but this doesn't taste quite the same. 👅🤷

The fire-breathing chicken mascot is accurate.

With the season they're having, I'm not sure that an Alpine F1 homage is a positive sign. Papaya, sure. Pink...umm...

Nope, user error. Had a lens inside out. (But astigmatism still sucks.)

Combined with the excavator, a herd of goats makes for a fine landscaping/land-clearing business. 🤔

And some llamas, because...why not?!

...And if I can't get an excavator, then I want to retire with a monster truck!

I was more of a soup spoon hole digger as a kid, but yes. Once middle age hits, guys are attracted to holes in the ground like cats to empty cardboard boxes.

Jealous! When I'm old and grey and retire from office life, I've promised myself a mini-excavator -- digging holes for fun (and pocket money) until I keel over. 🕳️
