I never play these type of mobile games so I'm not super clued in on them. I do have a friend who does play FGO though, she doesn't spend any money and really enjoys it. I do agree with you 100% though, I don't like gacha mechanics in principle. I'll just be optimistically skeptical about Star Leap

Maybe I'm being naïve but I thought it looks quite good. They're definitely putting a bit of money behind it. Doesn't look like a Breath of Fire VI situation to me. God knows though, I'll wait and see. Hopefully the main game is good and it gets a non monetised port to consoles after awhile.

In fairness it looks a lot more consistent to the Suikoden 1+2 HD versions than BOF6 did with it's series. At least in term of the gameplay and graphics Who knows maybe it'll be great, he said optimistically 😅
