I think you can enjoy K-dramas and appreciate Korean culture while still being mindful of what you adopt. Loving a show doesn’t mean copying every habit on screen. #CriticalViewership

For me, it shows how powerful Hallyu is. Through drama, fans experience a taste of Korea, from food and fashion to drinking rituals, even if they interpret them differently at home. #Hallyu

Just like K-beauty, Korean food and fashion, drinking culture is becoming something international fans notice and sometimes try for themselves. Some might even experiment with somaek. #KBeauty #Somaek

In K-dramas you can see friends drinking soju, and coworkers celebrating with somaek. It’s normal in Korean culture, but putting soju in beer stands out to international fans. #Soju #CulturalInfluence

As audiences change, hip hop changes too. Fans in Korea and China want different sounds, identities, and messages. That’s why artists adapt, and successful hip hop looks different in each place. #EvolutionInHipHop

In China, hip hop is shaped by censorship, nationalism, and the use of many different local languages. Artists change lyrics and themes to fit what the audience and the government expect. #ChineseHipHop

In Korea, people first thought Korean was hard to rhyme with, but rappers solved this by mixing Korean and English to make the flow smoother and reach a broader audience. #KoreanHipHop #LanguageInHipHop

I think their humanity would start to look like failure, it could increase burnouts and make it easier for the industry to treat them as replaceable. #VirtualIdols #RealIdols

And if audiences grow used to flawless performers who never age, complain or push back, what does that mean for real artists under real pressure?

Such as Hatsune Miku. She has sold out concerts worldwide, but everything she does is created by a team. There is only a code. #HatsuneMiku #VirtualIdol

The biggest difference between virtual and human idols is agency. Humans can set boundaries. Virtual idols only follow commands. #VirtualVsHuman

Some argue that outsiders shouldn’t comment on Korean issues. But silence can also be harmful. If we keep it as a dream world of idols, dramas, and romance, we erase the reality women face every day.

Do international fans need to know? I think yes. Because loving a culture shouldn’t mean ignoring its darker sides.
In that way, they may unknowingly support the structures that keep sexism alive. #Sexism #HallyuReality

My gaze is of empathy and sadness, but Patrick Liu's comes from lived pain. That makes me so sad. It’s such a beautiful yet devastating story. Love shouldn’t have to be brave to exist <3 #FilmReflection #LGBTQ

Patrick Liu’s story feels so personal, and it’s clear how his own experiences shaped the scenes. I kept hoping they would end up together at the beach in the end, but no.
Society just wasn’t ready for them, and that made them not ready either. #HeartBroken

For me, the biggest lesson was how fragile freedom really is. Watching it as someone who grew up in a more accepting time and place, it’s painful to realize how recently love like that was seen as something wrong.

I didn’t know it was based on the director’s own story until after, but I could feel through the scenes that it was real in some way💔 It’s so incredibly sad to see how love had to hide under pressure and fear. All because the world wasn’t ready for it. #LoveIsLove #DirectorPatrickLiu
