In time, American occupation of Greenland would be seen in a similar light to Germany's occupation of the Sudetenland. Not quite the match that ignites World War III but the precursor to the match. Doubtless, there is phenomenal mineral wealth to be had in Greenland. And crucial geopolitical value.
