Now, I’m sitting in administrative forbearance — not by choice — which means no interest, but also no progress. My repayment date has moved from February… to June… to August… & now says NOVEMBER. I’m 52 in December. I’ve been in limbo for months while politicians call us lazy or irresponsible.

To make it worse? My payment is projected to jump from $277 to over $850 a month. With no clear warning. No new plan. Just “sit tight” while interest racks up. I’ve paid over $2,000 in interest in just 60 days while waiting for my servicer to figure out which plan I’m even eligible for.

Now? They’re trying to change the rules. Again. This new proposal cld erase progress 4 borrowers nearing the finish line. It could push forgiveness from 25 yrs to 30. Which means those “42 payments left” might suddenly become 120+. It could mean 🚫 retirement. It could mean I work until ☠️

Furthermore requiring voters to obtain a passport or locate a birth certificate creates unreasonable barriers —either for expense or mere logistics. This is unacceptable voter suppression. @maddow.msnbc.com

Now Trump will come for that law firm, too. These law firms need to fight him, not fold his laundry.
