Looking over my store as I slowly open…realizing the person who got me in here quit yesterday…no pay raise in almost two years…why am I still here? It’s interesting how some things can put stuff in perspective.

Getting ready to have a work meeting about my “attitude” during a text conversation that I was forced to engage in the morning after finding out one of my close friends passed from cancer. Despite being respectful during said conversation. Should be fun.

You know, with everything going on in the world, I just want to be clear that I’m ready to fight for my fellow belittled souls. I hope to the gods that this will all just blow over and be done with quickly with no permanent harm, but I won’t stand back if the time comes to act. For now, we wait.

Ah, yes. My biggest obsession. I am an avid fan of the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton. The character development, stories, and writing flow keep this series at #1 for me, and each entry is another dose of happy. Vampires, wereanimals, sorcery…all in a modern setting. Gold.

Gotta say, working in the cannabis industry has been pretty amazingly rewarding. I have learned so much, and now as an educator and trainer, I get to teach others and inspire that same passion. It’s wild :3
