By the time 2024 comes to a close, I will have read 82 books over the last 12 months. This is my top 10 list of new releases I read this year in no particular order (1/2):

• Real Americans by Rachel Khong

Sent a picture of my three cats together to my family group chat, and one of my kids pointed out that it looks like Shyloh (on the right) is wearing a hat. Just an optical illusion with the stuff at the back of the couch. The next picture was my son-in-law’s interpretation.

I guess I've played some disc golf this year.

Today my cider advent calendar selection came with a bonus cat.

Fitbit gets me.

I love all the disc golf dogs. This one is Bitsy. Not mine, but I wish she was. She's a sweetie.

I love playing “guess that thing” when Amazon items come up on my feed.

Playing in a tournament on a golf course. The tee pad for one hole was right behind a large water hazard and the basket was on the far left. I debated avoiding the hazard and throwing to the right (left was a mando) or going for it. I went for it and THEN sunk my next shot 120 feet for the eagle!

My new favourite thing to do: Glow disc golf. Hope I don't trip in a hole and break my ankle.
