New *laws, that is

Absolutely, this is exactly what makes legislation around big tech so difficult. The old rule book for protecting workers doesn't translate well to algorithms & ghost bosses, and we'll likely be playing whack-a-mole with this for awhile.

Keep up the fight, and I'll look forward to your email ✊

Hello - my deep apologies, we have not been keeping up with BlueSky very well. Drop me a line at info@stephanievigil.com and I'll see what I can do.

As a general rule, implementation/enforcement of new days does come with a growing pains phase. Happy to take a look at what you're dealing with.

I know everything is so overwhelming right now, and there's a new emergency every day. But there actually is a clear path forward for the long haul, and that is local resilience: neighbors talking to neighbors, meeting each other where we are, and building lasting change through slow, steady growth.

Students practiced their debate & deliberation skills, making the case for or against bills to legislators, getting into the policy particulars about everything from gun safety to nuclear energy. Incredible things can happen when we empower the youth with tools and give them a chance to shine.

Also hot take here: unlike a head of cauliflower, the pizza is a complete meal, it isn't actually "bad for you," and on a busy weeknight it makes for a decent, quick meal.

Of course people will also get shamed for buying quality, fresh food with EBT, so, maybe America just hates poor people.

I am! Is there something specific you're thinking about? There's a lot of state level policy that touches on water security and environmental/public health, though of course not everything is within state control.

They can cry and scream all they like, but this special session is necessary to realign our state budget with the will of Colorado voters.
