The upgrade treatment of old IPs like this is perfectly fine. Also it's not like we have to buy each one. For example I wouldn't mind a Chrono Trigger done out like in this style if doing an AAA budget remake is far too much for some studios. (I'm aware of spiritual successors etc)

It's only natural. I spose it depends on what your goal is and if you still legitimately enjoy what you do for fun. A lot of us haven't grown much on certain platforms for various reasons and others sold out but as long as you remain authentic and your mental health in check then keep goin bro!
