Is there anything more “screw you” to its business base than the NFL’s preseason games farce?

I watched a lot of WW2 documentaries these last couple of days. Several about the rise of Hitler and his fan base. So much of it looked like a replay of the current nightly news.

If you surveyed modern Evangelical Christians, who would be their most admired example of a President? Trump or Carter. I’d say they would vote Trump, not even close. And they would not even see the hypocrisy in that.

There is a lot of irony in the fact that his supporters elected a man who promised both to free the economy from government interference and also to personally lower grocery prices. Now he tells them that he cannot lower prices after all. I wonder when he will tell them about how tariffs work.

SNL can layoff all their writers. Trump is writing better comedy than they have in years. They can just do an hour and a half of weekend news update each week. And just read the real headlines.
