The game isn't above criticism, but the criticism needs to be levied at the studio & corporate management.
The way they mishandled what SHOULD HAVE BEEN a clear slam dunk after the runaway success of Inquisition to chase short-lived multiplayer trends with the IP needs to be studied.

We got the game we got because the studio leadership & EA made terrible calls. They scrapped Joplin, they scrapped Morrison & the final game was made from the bones of both. All the while the creatives were enduring massive layoffs & leadership did this was giving themselves raises.
