It is a disgrace that TikTok does emergency alerting better than our own systems. Cellular companies COULD provide better info like photos, but don’t, because it would cost money.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE = Thursday, November 7, 2024 PRIMATES ESCAPE ENCLOSURES AT ALPHA GENESIS PRIMATE RESEARCH FACILITY LOCATED AT g5 CASTLE HALL RD, YEMASSEE SC 29945 At approximately 1pm on Wednesday November 6, 2024, the Yemassee Police Department received an alert from Alpha Genesis regarding the escape of numerous Rhesus Macaque primates from their enclosures at the Yemassee facility located at g5 Castle Hall Rd, Yemassee SC. The number has since been confirmed to be 43. The primates are described as very young females weighing approximately 6-7lbs, the animals have never been used for testing due to their young age and size. A spokesperson from Alpha Genesis can confirm that these animals are too young to carry disease. The Yemassee Police Department. in collaboration with Alpha Genesis, have initiated search teams to help locate the escaped primates. Alpha Genesis currently have eyes on the primates and are working to entice them with food. The public is advised to avoid the area as these animals are described at skittish and any additional noise or movement could hinder their safe capture. Residents are urged to keep their doors and windows securely closed and to report any sightings immediately by dialing 911. Please do not attempt to

There are only 4 days until the U.S. Presidential election. As of my last contact with the Secretary of State's office, the #voter registration platform in #Georgia still allows anybody to change another person's registration without requiring their driver's license/SSN. They refuse to acknowledge that it's a problem, stating that humans will catch the change. I can say with certainty that the clerks cannot catch what I'm able to do and I have receipts.

EAS certificate expiring on the first day of NAB, absolutely fantastic job to everyone involved.
The current FEMA certificate will be expiring on April 14, 2024. FEMA recently issued a newer certificate, meaning IPAWS users should update their equipment before the April 14, 2024 expiration date. Not updating the certificate may result in the error message: “Event Log:Digital Signature VERIFICATION ERROR : Signer UNTRUSTED! Check for correct CAP decoder CA file.;” or not processing valid IPAWS alerts.
