The entire Shedeur hype bears similarities to Tebow in the sense that national media REALLY want him to be good because he’s marketable. of course teams did not like him as a prospect because of his many flaws. Ofc a lot of people looked past a lot of it because ESPN and co. weren’t being objective.

To be completely fair no one is gonna be able to run the ball behind that ass o-line

I will follow up with I believe it’s the media’s (namely ESPN’s) fault putting this huge spotlight on this guy who clearly needs work and putting extreme expectations on the guy. I feel bad for him but this is gonna follow him for awhile.

The “never had reps” criticism is absurd because backup quarterbacks never get reps in practice. Let alone with a rookie starter.

I never felt he was a first round talent because of his tendency to hold onto the ball too long, awkward footwork and slow progressions. All terrible in the NFL.

He holds onto the ball for too long, turns his back from the play as well. Drifts in the pocket making the O-Line’s job harder and has a weird habit of switching hands when scrambling. He’s like a less elusive Justin Fields.

He did his O-Line no favors that game. The fervor around him is insane.

I’ve been waiting for this game for years and it was 100% worth the wait. Really hoping all the best for the game because it deserves to take off.
