'ave ya seen it?
Good, eh?
What have you been watching?

Trying to keep it about filums, but it's gonna get political
I can't remember how I first heard about this classic, but it was an early VHS watch that i never forget.

Udo was unique.

What he brought to a roll was as unforgettable as it was unpredictable.

And always seemed to absolutely commit to a roll.

Thank you Udo.

Did anyone see who was front row at the Pope's address to Hollywood stars?
Right across the asile from Viggo, none other than our Dario!

Surely worth some late points in the battle for the black glove

50 years ago Australian democracy was rocked by the dismissal of the Whitlam government.

Kennedy Miller recognised the importance with a five part, 270 minute miniseries The Dismissal

"Three Balls" John Laws has passed at 90.

Best know for his radio work,
he did singing, poetry, cash for comment and of course acting.
In 1971 he gave us Nickel Queen.

This Battle for the Black Glove is starting to look like a tie.

I gotta give Bava some points for Planet of the Vampires
The guy had some range

This is driving me crazy,
I know the voice of a couple of those guys.

I think it's the narrator in Rocky & Bullwinkle,
who apparently was William Conrad.

The opening pages of @CliveBarkers debut novel The Damnation Game have haunted me for decades.

Whenever I think of the war-torn places humanity creates, where life is worth less than a greeting, I think of Barkers descriptions.

One day I hope we will be better, but sadly not today

38 years ago this month Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons completed the 12 issue run of Watchmen for DC.

Due to a disagreement over merchandise, Alan Moore had a major falling out with the publisher.

This badge is one of the two items. The other was a watch. Get it, and watchmen watch!

One of the great mute murder films has to be Wait Until Dark [1967] starring Audrey Hepburn, Alan Arkin

This is the guy who took a bunch of classified government documents home and kept them in a bathroom.

He ain't letting nothing he don't like go free

The worst thing about watch #TheLastDriveIn live

is the sunny Saturday mornings in Australia,
and the reflections off the screen

What a lot of fun 1986s' The Hitcher is!

Something of a forgotten gem, Rutgers Hauer & C Thomas Howell, at arguably their peak in a classic stalker on the move.

The supernatural skills John Rider has reminded me of Hannibal Lector, in a good way.

The poster always made me think of Andy Kaufman.

I'm sure this is going to be interesting, Dicaprio and PTA,

But you know what I wanna see?
a sequel to Whats Eating Gilbert Grape!

I wanna know how Arnie and Gilbert are doing.

Lasse Hallström is still making films,
