I don't know much about anything, but it occured to me that one strategy when doing these ritualistic meeting whith Trump would be to not sit "on the edge of the seat", but just lean back, and enjoy the show. Be relaxed, smile, end bluntly shut down Trump's narrative when you get asked about it.
