We use cutting-edge tools to study how genes, neurons, and muscles interact to produce behaviors that help animals adapt to their environments. We focus on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, magnetic orientation in C. elegans, and crustacean neuroscience.
Our latest manuscript is out. It explores the contribution of stretch receptors to muscle function. In particular how they modulate the output of muscles during different activities.
