I want to host a 2-3TB photo/video library and access it from my macbook, a linux desktop, and a windows desktop. I want to be able to edit photos and videos from any of these machines while feeling like a local drive.

Claude 3.7 Sonnet is incredible for writing little tools / scripts. I'm basically one-shotting fairly complex things that would have taken me half-day or more. Gemini 2.0 Flash failed over and over with dumb mistakes.

New Zealand bureaucracy is pretty dang efficient. Yesterday I made an online appointment at one of many AA offices. Today I filled out a short form, showed an existing license, took an eye test, and came out as a NZ driver's license holder in 30 minutes. I arrived in Christchurch on Saturday. 😊

My Rivian has the coolest headlights. Basically full-time high beams but the matrix LEDs track and black out any vehicle as to not blind them.

The crazy United Healthcare CEO story reminded me of when my daughter was born and some glitch in their computers toggled her existence on/off for months, sending me a new insurance card each time. We had to fight them for coverage for like a year. Good times.
