A while back, I went to an art show at the Sahara Library entitled, "Home is a Place Rooted in my Throat." The message conveyed by the various artists was that of strength, perseverance, and community. Weeks later, there are several pieces I can't shake. The imagery burned clearly in my mind's eye.
